So about almost a month ago two pits were able to get into my coop kill some of my chickens and injure a lot of them they are all doing well except for this little girl now she’s eating pooping drinking and all but she stays only on her side she can kick. When she walks she just pushes with her feet and stays on her side the vets here that are able to see her coat so much money just to see her but I also want to do anything for her she’s a sweet little chick over three months old now.. I should also mention that this was at night when it all happened so guessing they didn’t see her or brothers because they had no visible injuries..

You might try placing her in a homemade chicken sling or chair to get her upright out of droppings and in front of food and water. It would be best to find out with xrays if she has a broken leg or dislocated hip or something. The other possibility besides injury, is that she might be suffering from Mareks disease, if the attack might have stressed and precipitated symptoms. It can take weeks for a sprain or broken bone to heal. Silkies are so hard to see because of all the feathers. Is there any swelling or deformity in her legs? I would offer 1/4 tablet daily of vitamin B complex crushed into her food daily. Here are pictures of slings that many have made:

No she hasn’t had any swelling I thought it could have been a broken rib or something because it seems like the dogs stepped on them But she never swelled up never really been in pain but since that night she just stays on her side but I will definitely be trying this!

How well can she move her legs? If you hold her upright to a standing position, what does she do?
She can kick and move like crazy lol but she’ll freak out when I try to put her up straight sometimes she’ll set down right but then go back on her side
