ChickenGuard Dogs...let's see em

We used to have an American Bulldog who would have loved a chicken dinner, but loved the goats even more. She is now the loving dog of some friends of ours. We still have our Greater Swiss mix, who gets along well with everyone.

Chewie and one of the new kids born yesterday:

Shame on you for not decorating his yard for him. You forced him to take matters into his own paws.

I'll post pics when we get back of them....

Bones. So far so good. Mega poop eater, so doesn't go in with the chickens too much. Chases and herds them, and stands down (well enough for a 2.5 mo) and helped me catch one on purpose!

Amber, Not really a chicken protector. Would be just as dangerous as any other predator, however I think she does keep "other" predators away just by her presence. Our goats think she's one of them!

Soldier. He's just wonderful. We can let him come in and just HANG out with the animals. Doesn't eat poop. Doesn't want to eat live chickens. Just likes to hang out in there when we are in there. Hopefully Bones will follow in Soldiers footsteps!
