Definitely wouldn't ask google, you'll end up probably for a month of Sundays reading different reasons as to why and probably not figure it out anyway. Better to just leave it as one of the unsolved mysteries I'd say, there was about 20 pages on the computer of reasons

I have never seen this and had to change my password to get in on my phone had not used the phone since I got the new one do not recall it there either

I think it's normal, the site has a floating navigation bar, but the bottom part of it isn't floating, so when the top of the navigation bar hits the top of your browser window, the bottom part of the bar which isn't floating disappears. We're going to be upgrading the site soon, and I don't think that the bottom portion of the navigation bar disappears even if only the top part is set to floating on the new version.
