Chickens and their first snow

Living in south central TX, we get snow about once every 5 years, and it's maybe an inch if that. We got a couple inches today, and of course my girls have never seen snow before!

This is SO funny!! I love the way they try to fly as far as possible before touching their feet to that "foreign substance"!! They really must want their treats or they probably would have turned around and gone back inside. Thanks for posting!

Just curious, one of you called Biddy an EE....I've been wondering about that myself. She was advertised as an Ameraucana at the store, so that's what I've called her. But she doesn't look exactly like the few other Ameraucanas I've seen!

Oh well...she's sweet and lays nice big green eggs, so that's all that matters to me.
