I am so glad I found this post. I was sure I was losing my mind. I moved my chairs from the deck out to the coop(well just outside the coop) So I could sit there and watch them all evening while they scratch and peck around the yard before going to bed at night. It really is so calming. Don't know why I didn't get them sooner.
