Chickens are Weirdos

I have 13 hens and 5 nest boxes...I find all 13 eggs in 1, maybe 2, boxes every day.

Mine use to do it. I had an extra big nesting box that all of them had to nest in. One day I decided to split it in half with a divider... problem solved.

I almost feel like my flock is the "weird" one because they won't share nest boxes (and mine are bigger than average) and simply shuffle down to the next available box. If the most popular box becomes vacant, any hens sitting in the other boxes will often shuffle over one to use it (and the box next to it).

Walked in twice today to find 1 hen in each of the 3 boxes, and picked up at least 1 egg from each box.
