Tanya, you sound like such an awesome person. You are clearly very intelligent, articulate, kind and a good mom. You had every right to REALLY swear and rant in this thread, but you were very cool, calm and mature expressing yourself.
You rock and sound like the kind of friend I would like to have. Good luck with this and keep us posted please!

How I keep calm? I didn't post on Friday. Seriously, I opened a word doc and ranted myself out until my heart was content and I was feeling less violated. Then, I wanted action and I wanted to make people aware of things that COULD happen even if they never do. That way can all be aware that we have to educate people about our pets, and it seems our own rights as well.

Plus I don't really curse 'cause I get teased that it just sounds cute and not meaningful at all.

Yeah Meow, you keep us posted. I so want to get a group together and visit congress. This whole system needs changing so so bad.

I'm expecting CPS to show up tomorrow since it's the first business day. They really only send out people on the weekend if it's urgent and since that guy was already here Friday it obviously wasn't urgent, it's just a follow up. I wasn't really expecting to be here most of the day, but I'm going to try to stick around to get it over with. I have a chicken coop to pick up tomorrow, materials to pick up from people, black jersey giant pullets to drive out and get 3 towns away, an orthopedic surgeon to take my daughter to, her regular therapies, oh and a bunny adoption on Wednesday. Yup, I am letting her get a stinking bunny.... it's litter box trained and a friend of mine is moving into a small apartment and is so upset but wants a good home for the bunny. She's a mini Rex and super sweet. Oh well good thing she comes with supplies and it's not like she can't hang with the chickens.​
 
Good Lordy - if THAT is what these people are worried over, I sure hope they don't come here!

We have ... well, I should say I have ... 10 dogs, 8 horses and now 8 chicks.

I might get around to doing laundry ... or the grocery store ... there have been moments where neither has been done. Yikes! Collect the children!

Then of course, I let a horse out of the paddock and he walks around the outside of the house ... loose! Free range horse! Yikes!



Hope your woes stop soon and your ex-fiance can find a different hobby, rather than getting drunk and calling the cops on you. Perhaps he may wise up and begin to understand that this may be why he's an "ex."
