Mine do but my hardware cloth apron extends down a foot and then out from there so they haven't gotten down to the bottom....yet.
I am thinking of laying bricks or pavers on the inside perimeter of the run to keep them from getting too close to the hardware cloth and catching their nails on it. No injuries yet but I can see it happening if they get close to it.

That's a relief. I thought they were training to escape after they off their human captors.

I have 3 spot where they dig. 2 in run area and one out in the back yard that surrounds the run.
BOTH are at the 'wall' area of each. grr
But heaven forbid they go into the bucket I provided in the run OR the HUGE playhouse inside that has sand/dirt for them to dust in...

I'd say add a border pile of heavy gravel around the inside perimeter.
