I have a five month old orpington that when he sits his feet and legs are in front of him and he leans back on his but,he was fine untill a few days ago,he does limp a little once in awhile,he has a hard time balancing on the roosts also.Other than this he is fine. What could it be

This is what he looks like when he sits

I`m thinking its a sprain in the leg or hip,I put him in a cage and mixed up some yogurt and raw garlic and could not get it in there fast enough for him he loved it.So I put electolites in their water and put him back with his buddies,he is eating and drinking fine and he did poop and that looks normal.

I have a hen that's doing the same thing. Hopefully someone will give us ideas

Check the bottoms of his feet for bumble foot. A black scab-like area on the pad of the foot could indicate that. Worms make chickens act weird. Lethargic, slow, etc. Certainly odd behavior.
