Hi there, my name is Jessica, and I live in Austin, TX. We got 3 day old chicks in mid April of this year. Today the easter egger laid her first egg! I got a lot of info from this site when deciding to start raising backyard chickens and finally joined today.

I have an easter egger named Margarita, a buff orpington named Sunny, a cuckoo maran named Delilah, and 2 blue/black silkies named Sugar and Spice.
