My step son was in the US Navy, stationed in Sicily. He went out to eat one evening with friends and they fed him horse. Didn't tell him what it was until he ate it, but he really liked it! Said he would eat it again no problem. Said it tasted like beef. I'd try it if I had to

I'm not sure but I would guess that horses serve humans better if they are alive. The same with dogs I think. There is a bond between horses or dogs and humans. A symbiotic relationship
