Home Sweet Home
Hi everyone! My name is Natalia and I am from Indonesia.
These are the chickens that I have at the moment. I have 14 of them, but I only got 9 pics of them so far. I just bought the last 5 yesterday. These are the chickens that we call as "ayam kampung" in Indonesia. Free translation of "ayam kampung" is "local chickens". These are one of the common breeds we have in Indonesia.
My sister and I bought the first 9 chickens on last Dec 23rd, so I could say that they are a Christmas gift from Santa

All the 3 black chickens are my sister's but somehow she left the care to me

but I don't name them though.
I hope you'll enjoy the pictures

Very cute chicks

So I'm guessing Ayam means chicken. I know the Ayam Cemani are a completely black chicken (comb, beak, eyes, legs, skin, flesh) originating from your area.

I want to have "ayam kate" also, aka bantams for you. They are so cute!

@Illia : You're guessing right, "ayam" means chicken

I haven't seen anyone sells ayam cemani yet in the city where I live.

Thank you for such nice comments on the chickens everyone. Glad you enjoyed the pics
