Good morning, and welcome to BYC. 23 weeks old is a bit early for eggs depending upon the breed, but @DobieLover has most likely explained the reason for no production. As/when day length begins to increase they will lay.

So glad you have joined us here, and that you are wanting to learn all you can as a responsible chicken keeper. Best of luck raising them, and hopefully offsetting those feed costs with the eggs! I may be biased, but eggs from your own backyard flock taste so much better
