Chickens in Idaho

My name is David and it's been 11 weeks since I bought any chickens, on-my-honor! ["HI DAVID!"].

3 Rhode islands and some (5) mutts. Mixed bantams for food, Rhode Islands for eggs.

I'm in Coeur d'Alene (pronounced like it sounds), in N Idaho.

I built this coop. It has two doors. If you don't already know why none of them have four doors, fall into the trap and ask:

Made it from recycled pallets and some 1.5x1.5s and a ton of screws.

I'm really into my car (ask anybody), my garden, my friends, reading and occasionally exercise.

My baby. My brother says I'd get more hits on YouTube If I'd just run down the camera:

I heard about this place via a FaceBook friend and remember when I was looking for a forum for this exact thing (and, of course, couldn't find one). I replied to the post with "AWESOME!!!"

I'm stoked. I have a one question already but will find the right place to post it, if it isn't already answered. Probably is. I'm a green pea. All this is new.
