Chickens in Slow Motion

Not chickens, but I got some slow motion videos of my Call Duck, Crash, in the bath and afterwards that I thought were pretty cool. The first one is almost 8 minutes long, so I'm also including a shorter version of it for those who, like me, don't have the greatest connection for buffering longer videos. :)

Those of you with ducks will recognize this maneuver they do during bath time.

Preening. After her bath, Crash always spends some time squeezing the water from her belly feathers as seen in this video.

Yeah, it definitely felt like it on that long one! And that video is only roughly half the length it was when I initially recorded it (about 2 minutes of time recorded at 240 frames per second, which apparently translates to 16 minutes of slow motion video? ). Uploading the short, 45-or-so second videos goes pretty fast, though, and a lot faster since I upgraded my phone from the ancient (4-year-old  ) model I had before. It also helped that I switched from the unlimited but glacial satellite wifi to the very much limited but so much faster cell data to do this batch, which is sacrilege around here, but no one else has to know...
