sorta, lol they never made it to the table, kids attacked them on the counter so I had to peal the rest off and dish them before the table! lol
did I mention my kids are little chicken and turkey vultures?????

Frieda's broody, and Ravyn will be sending me eggs tomorrow! I could've actually had her send them earlier, but I'm waiting on my hygrometer to arrive, and it's supposed to be here tomorrow. I figure I'll have the couple days of transit time to get everything calibrated, and then transit and resting time to make sure everything's ready. I could've had her send them sooner, but I had used the order-$35-worth-of-stuff-and-get-free-shipping option (my older daughter got a $20 Amazon gift card from the library's summer reading program, and I took advantage of the need to spend $35 to get a hygrometer ) so it's taking foreverrrrrr... Of course, 12 hours after I placed the order is when Frieda decided she was going to go full-on broody, instead of just toying with the idea.

Are the eggs going under Frieda or in the incubator, or both? Lol. Good luck either way!!

Hi SC! Glad you are still kicking after all that rain and work. No elk here yet. Catching up at work has been a beast. I lost a main employee so it's been a challenge.

My new birds are supposed to show up tomorrow.

I was wondering how the elk hunt went for you. My buddy arrowed a big 5 point muley yesterday (that's would be a 12 point for you easterners, the brow tines don't count as points on mule deer, and we only count the points on one side). Makes me want to get out and get hunting.

Work has got me slammed as well. Quarter end stuff.
