I'm leaning towards sun damage. It's just a couple of feathers, and appears to be the tips

All very gorgeous SC!  :love   I really like the splash... oh heck, I can't choose...
:hugs
Thanks, that splash is gorgeous, and the best body type of the 3, but that blue has eaten out of my hand since he was a chick. I love them all, and can move them to other pens if they start fighting. I wound up with 4 black hens, 3 blue, and one splash. One of the black hens you can just tell is what they are supposed to look like. Big, heavy girl whose beard is so full you can barely see her eyes

Well, I'll throw out a few pics too. Got my lavenders moved on Saturday. Had a hard time catching them and getting them into the back of the truck, but we did it. Then had to make a tunnel with tarps to release them into the building to their new home. But they seem fine and are enjoying their new digs.

And got a nice shot of my black girl

:love Those lavs are so pretty! I still loving that coop and run, too. How do you like the little truck? I've thought about getting one of those

Both are awesome!
Lovely! Sorry no deer. And you can keep the snow up there please.

We moved the lavenders today. It was quite an ordeal, but we all survived. Didn't get done in time for me to climb in my tree stand. Maybe tomorrow...
Those lavs are looking great WV. Any luck with the hunt? I took my 12 yo for his first hunt and he got a shot. No deer on the ground yet. We have one more week here.

Sounds like you got a good mixture, and they do seem to be developing nicely!

I cut a tree and mounted between the 2x4's in the run Sunday, as soon as I left the run, they were on it! So I think we are all happy with the new accommodations.

That's one of those Japanese mini-trucks. Its ok, right-side drive, which is a bit funky for me (probably just a female thing

) It belongs to the man we bought our camp property from. We temporarily "traded" him our Suzuki Samurai for it, because its not the easiest thing to get in and out of, and he wanted to try the Samurai. He is in his 80's and had trouble with the mini-truck. Even my husband has a little trouble getting in and out of it. So I drive it a lot more than he does. You are probably about his size, so I'd say definitely test drive one before buying. Bill had actually bought 2 of them, then sold one, but he sold the better one. It was geared lower and did a lot better on our hills, this one does ok, but nothing to brag about. Of course, you probably wouldn't have that issue. The bed of it is nice, all 3 side panels can fold down. The best part for me though is the full cab and heater when its cold!

Thanks! I sat for a couple of hours one evening last week, didn't see anything. Left the stand early, decided I'd go take care of the chickens before dark. Then of course I saw 3 deer over where my stand is, just at sunset. I knew I should have stayed put! I'll probably sit tomorrow evening, when I go check on the chicks though.

Bummer that your boy missed, but at least he got a shot. That first shot is the hardest! Will you get to take him back out this week?
