Chickens Knocking Over Food and Water?

I have a hanging feeder, that was breast height when I moved them in, and a 5 gal bucket with nipples... They can't knock either over.

I spent the $'s and bought a "Grandpa's Feeder" which is all metal and the chickens have to stand on a platform to open the cover of the feeder. I have zero waste of feed with this feeder (they can't scratch it out) and I bought the large size to accommodate my flock. It's also large enough they cannot knock it over.

I also have a 2 waterers and both are up on blocks and they too are large enough they can't knock them over and having them up helps keep the shavings and poop out.

I really like the idea of the nipple waterers but I tried one when my flock was young and some of them just didn't catch on so I stopped using it. I may try that again though now that they are older and bigger.

I went with a PVC tube feeder which is close to zero waste. The PVC is 3" x 3'. At the bottom there is a 6" end cap. The chickens have to stick their heads way in to get the feed and scratch out very little. I am going add a larger tube at the top to increase the storage capacity.
The water bucket has three horizontal nipples and there is little spillage and the water stays very clean. Where we have it placed does not allow the chickens to get on top. With only 7 chickens, this is a low maintenance solution. At some point I will tie the rain barrel into a watering system.
