Chickens locked out

I have my fingers crossed for you and her. I will not be surprised if she is 100% in 3days! GOOD LUCK. The glass is half full.
Thank you for your support. I obviously hope this is the case. They weren’t kidding when they (the chicken people) say you lose your favorites first.

For reference, my hen was lethargic, standing still (but not the penguin stance) eyes mostly closed, I had to squirt water with electrolytes in her throat, she wasn't eating either. This lasted 3days until she started to turn around. Her poop was also discolored and runny. After the shell-less egg she laid 2 soft shells then stopped layin for 8wks through moulting. It was a surprise moult because she was sold to me as a 22wk old pullet, I was told she is a Redstar. Anyway this is just what I remember from the event for your comparison or analysis.

I think it’s a little different because the egg broke inside her as apposed to just a soft shell but thank you. I think I’ll soak her again tomorrow if she’s still with us and just do what I can. She’s still eating a little by hand and I will give her water via dropper bc I haven’t seen her drink on her own.

My hen laid/pooped out the egg white and broken yolk only with no shell (in the nestbox) followed by 2 soft shells approx. 1 week later. You are doing better then I did.

I have a hen who I am to be feeding right now. If your hen isn't drinking or is losing weight, you might try tube feeding. It's surprisingly easy to do, but it's kind of "last resort" for me.

She hasn’t lost weight. I caught this very early luckily. She wasn’t eating much today but at the vet they gave her some tylosin and idk if it’s related but she’s picking at her mash now. I will be giving her water via dropper as she isn’t drinking much on her own.

Ok. I just wanted you to know it's an option. I wish I'd started it sooner. My girl is doing so much better now, and it's only been a few days.

I will look into it. Do you have resources to share ?
Here are the screenshots I use for reference:

I use a 60 mL syringe I got at TSC and some aquarium tubing, but I ordered a proper tube feeding kit (for lambs).
