Chickens mated

I see more hackles on the hen in the first pic than I see on the roo in the second. I will stand corrected and admit I'm wrong, I'm sorry if he crowing and has saddle feathers he must be a boy.

He abusing the girls you might want to put him in a time out cage till they are ready. Even after unless you are wanting fertile eggs keep him away from the girls. If you want a sitting hen let him loose once you have a broody hen. His hormones will calm down and you can turn him loose, just don't let the teenage boy beat your girls up.
 
Oh its ok, it was probably confusing. He is in the first pic too, he is the closest to the camera. No worries. But that's good advice! So when you separate them how big does his run have to be and how long till he kinda calms down? I do want chicks eventually... but I also want eggs!
