Chickens Not Laying

Hi all... We have 28 chickens, mixed breeds, ages less than 3 years. Our egg production is down and we are at a loss. Out of 28 chickens, we get approximately 10-12 eggs per day. It's been hot but they are in a shaded area. We feed them non-GMO layer pellets and scratch and scraps in the evening. Any help would be much appreciated!

Are you providing them with things to help them stay cool? E.g. watermelon, frozen water bottles, cool moist spot for dust baths, etc.

Cut out the scraps....never let them run out of water.
Could be slowing down getting ready for molt too.

Production does go down in summer heat. You probably just got used to the high counts in springtime.
