Chickens of the Rainbow

I do NOT know the answer to that question, BUT, I can tell you they can distinguish RED from other colors.
 
hmm thats an interesting question. I know other birds can see some colors, but I'm not sure about chickens.
 
Not only do they see in color, but it is being speculated in several studies that they can also see colors that are invisible to humans in the UV part of the spectrum.

the reason i ask is because my black ausrolope(sp?) Sally REALLY likes my neon green nail polish. lol
 
I was once told that they can't see blue but whether that is true or not I have no idea but the red thing is a fact. They react to red better than any other color.
