Chickens pick the oddest places to lay an egg !

We are getting the rain here in Texas! This morning we got 4 inches in just about 1 1/2 hours! Everything flooded---AGAIN!! All I have to say is I think---as long as we don't float away I don't mind the rain. It's better than the 100 degree days we could be having! My electric bill likes it too! But my garden is gone. My squash is rotten. My tomatoes are rotten. My green beans have just about stopped from lack of sun. The okra is just coming up and it looks funny. I do have some pumpkins coming up but they will probably rot too!

You are not kidding! Chickens lay in the weirdest places. This is where my chicken gertrude lays her eggs- EVERY DAY!

Now why can't some of that rain reach us here in Tennessee? It hasn't rained good since April, when everyone was flooded out. *sigh* Weather and men.... !!
