Hello. So I have a head scratcher of a situation. Last fall one of my Vorwerk hens who at the time was 6 months old, started acting more dull than the rest of my flock. No other symptoms noted. She never got any worse, was always the same dullness you could say. She eventually passed in her sleep 4 months later. About a month or so after she passed another one of my Vorwerk hens started acting the same way. I found her passed away today ( about 4 months later). My Vorwerk rooster is now acting like he's next. I have one more Vorwerk hen (they are all siblings) who is still perfectly fine, along with my other different breed hens who have not had any issues. It's very odd as I cannot seem to find any other symptoms to go off of. Poop all appears fine, they all would still eat and drink just not as fast. I have fresh water every day for them. They are on Purina flock raiser, oyster shells, lettuce to pick at and I give them scratch grains and meal worms as treats spread around the run daily. I do have the hen that passed away today on ice to bring to the diagnostic lab for necropsy but figured I'd post here of anyone else has had a similar issues. Thanks!
