Chickens that rarely lay?

Black Copper Marans don't lay frequently. I get an egg every 1-2, or 3 weeks from mine.

They're not white, but they don't lay often.

What about white marans? Would that be the same thing you think?

Yes, they're the same breed, just a different color.

You should experience the same thing, if not similar with them.

Columbian Wyandotte’s are awesome. I have 2 and 1 of them (pepper) is a lap chicken. She is 10 weeks old.

Yes it sounds crazy we just hardly eat any eggs but I love having chickens! It's a problem. I have looked into sultans I might try those and thank you for the suggestion!

Oh yeah sultans! I hear they only lay like 50 eggs a year!

Some breeds that lay hardly any eggs are sultans, crevecors, polish, Sumatra’s, Yokohama, and Brahmas
