chicken's vents are bleeding

There are 12 chickens they are smokey pearls they have been on the same diet layerd pellet feed dumor brand there coop is 12x24 foot coop. they have runs and toys to play with. it was just weird that they were fine the day before when I was feeding and watering them then the next day I went down there and 8 out of 12 were bleeding when they raised their tail almost looked like I could see something maybe an egg? also my chickens are white how do I check for lice/mites?
How many Linear feet of Roost do they have?

I doubt the pecking will stop without separation at this point. Maybe blu-kote will help a bit... It depends on how much blood there is, how bad the wounds are, and how serious your birds have become about the pecking. Plus if the wounds are bad enough, you won't want to apply blu-kote, because it will be harder for you to tell how it's healing. But that's mainly an issue with deep bite wounds and gashes.

It's hard to say without knowing the cause in the first place. You did mention that it looked like the vent on one chicken was open, like there was an egg or something in there right? I don't remember, is anybody laying? Could someone be egg bound? Sometimes chickens that are egg bound will peck at their own vents. If that happens, and they draw blood, that's basically an invitation for all the others to peck at it. And then maybe that started a habit of vent pecking.
they are all laying and I thought it looked like an egg maybe or it was just the inside of them it was hard to tell with the blood I definately am not using the blu-kote it says right on the bottle not to use on food producing animals there is also a warning on this site about not using it

If I apply vetericyn antimicrobial poultry care spray and some no peck and get them cleaned up do you think they will make it? I really have no way to separate them I also found some healxcel pultry wound spray it is antiseptic antifungal antibacterial anti inflammatory and analgesic spray would it be better

Hmm... Corn starch can be used to stop minor bleeding, does anyone know if that'd work? Clean them up, dry them off, and then put corn starch on the wounds?
