Chickens with no intrest in composting

My 10 hens and 1 rooster came from a place that had them in a run without grass and were fed from a feeder. I have a chicken coop, run, a enclosed yard, and acres of pasture with three 4 ft high mounds of horse manure. It's been 2 weeks since I let them in the pasture and I can tell you they don't compost. They peck a bit here and there ignoring the horse manure about them and sit about happily. The chicken yard should be all scratched up at this point, but it covered in nice green grass because they don't scratch much at all. If it wasn't for the feathers from moulting you would never know 11 chickens have been on it a month. The compost heap in the pasture is just sitting there. I let them feed all day from a feeder. I assume it is because they rely on the feeder they are not driven to forage.
How can I make sure they are not starving, but get them intrested in composting?

I'm confused (but new so this is normal). What is it you want your chickens to do to a pile of poop?

Edit: lazy gardener beat me to it

They have only been there A month they are still getting to know their new environment. They are not used to so much. They sound happy too me. I can bring mine over and tear up your yard lol. Sooner or later they will discover the glory of scratching through everything

Silly! Of course I don't expect them to eat POO!
I want them to scratch it up and look for the worms, undigested grain, grass seed, etc. so it breaks down the poo more quickly. I will put the composted manure onto the garden, flower beds, and field when it has composted.
Chickens CAN speed up the process by a year
