I think we're on the same latitude as Newfoundland and Kamchatka, but have a very different climate

I think the Gulf Stream has alot to do with it in our climate, compared to others of similar latitude, we have much milder winters here usually and this winter was exceptionally mild.

Im in Connecticut and the only thing with leaf buds is my forsythia.
