I sure wish someone would come and beam me up ASAP, lol!!! But bring my chickens with me! lol

Well maybe Jen I'll be able to say more then hi to you!

BTW- I have 2 Ameraucana (not pure!) Black in color but came from Blue parents. Around 2 months old now, I assume 1 roo & 1 pullet- not positive! Would like to see them go as a pair, they have been handled and are very social. At this point, very unruley, lol!
So if anyone is interested, just let me know and/or they will be at Chickenstock 2.

Can't wait to see who, what when and where all is going to arrive! The community is pretty pleased.

I'm trying to make a choice on date. August what??? Sat or Sunday?

Hopefully, I'll see you at the next Northern New England Poultry Fanciers Association meeting (July 12th, Farmington) unless we meet up sooner.

Saturday or Sunday work for me... The later in the month the better, so that most of my chicks are at the 8 week age...

ETA: I'm flexible with the date though, if others want it earlier...that's fine too.

That would make them about 7 weeks...I was wondering the same thing...I will have a few chicks that will be 6 to 7 weeks old at that time, I'm not bringing anything younger, but don't know whether I should bring these as I don't think I'll have six to part with.

Spook, do you know if the 8 weeks for batches of 6 is set in stone or is it okay if they are pretty well feathered out?

Ohhhh, thanks for the reminder for the July NNEBFA meeting.

For those who are interested, it's at the Farmington Fairgrounds, in the poultry barn which is at the fairgrounds entrance near the sugar shack and livestock display area. On the far left of the fairgrounds.

Just look for the barn with the most cars parked in front!!!

Good Luck on your Oxford Chicken Stock and I'm sure that you all will enjoy meeting Mr Morrison. Truly, he is a very nice and helpful guy. I met him at my first time at the Skowhegan Fair, when I was so early to coop and no one else was around. He helped me explaining the procedure of cooping and gave me his card!!
