Hmmm... how fortunate you went to that fair Nifty!

Now, how does one go about getting sponsored?

What would be a good fair to do this at, if we go that route?

What area of the country seems like a fair place to do this? I'm shotting for the middle of the country somewhere, and maybe in the following years we could rotate it (as per someone else's suggestion).

Uh......I know I have more questions, but I can't think of them right now!

I think I will email the APA (of which I'm a member) and tell them what we're thinking of doing. They should be able to point us in the right direction, as they are always looking for new members and a bunch of us chickaholics at one of their events would be to their benefit. I'll let you know what they say.

maybe we could get some of the 'feed' companies in on this? I know Organic is hard to find in most parts of the country...not here near Vermont! And if Vermont is selling it...it is TRUE organic! Maybe we could get the FEED companies to sponsor BYC website for 'FUNDAGE'!

Hmmm...you know Hubbard Feeds is here in Walpole, NH and I know a couple who work there! I could put a feeler out!
Food vendors selling all things chicken...
Martha Stewart Invite!! She'd totally get into this...
PLUS we could invite certain media!! I could see a whole show on MS Living with all us crazy chicken folk!

You are TOTALLY getting what I'm saying! Doesn't Martha Stewart keep chickens? I KNOW this is something she'd be in to.... Let's get all the basics in place though before we go crazy. We still don't have a date or location. I've emailed the APA and am waiting on a response.

Martha is a total chicken freak...just like us! She's the reason I tried for Ameraucana chickens and got Easter Eggers from McMurray's!! She loves her green, blue and pink eggs and has a flock of her own! She always talks about using free range chickens
She helps all us simple people feel like royalty!
