I was doing my quarterly wormings/pest treatment on my birds that are scheduled this morning. I put the bottle of the Iver-On on top of the pellet stove because I had the syringe in the other hand so the top was off. I have been using this method for the last 2 years and have not lost a bird after treament. I bumped the bottle and it spilled so I got a paper towel and wiped it off and it took the paint off the pellet stove! OMG, what is it doing to the birds?? ALthought like I said I never lost a bird after treatment with it and it really works great as long as you remember to do it evry 4 months faithfully. No wonder it works at keeping the pests away if it is that strong!

thankfully the animals gutt actually takes care of the paint remover part of this stuff, its safe for the birds but obviously not for stove paint lol.
remember it has to be stronger than you would think to be able to work past thedigestive enzimes.( they break down and destroy most meds).

and your right they are bronze, they are very diffiult to tell the difference between the bronze and the burbons as chicks, and if unknown to the color patterns as adults can be easily mistaken for the other.

right now the only way I can tell the difference is because I have them in seperate brooders. just hope no one puts them all together on me, I will have to have a melt down trying to figure out which one is which lol.
