OMG she is sooo cute.I had a few chicks from that batch that just never grew right really wierd. And nobody even comes close to the house but im not sure if its the growling and barking or the rabid slobbering that scares them

I guess you'll never have to worry about any strangers walking into your yard!

Remember the tiny faverolles pullet the kids got from you? She's still the tiniest fav pullet I've ever seen. Here she is with friends.

She's on the left here, with a normal sized bantam fav in front of her. She's about half the size.

Here's she's in the middle, small even compared to silkies.

She sure stays warm at night though. She gets lost in the fluff of all those big birds!

A prior neighbor had an English mastiff. She took up almost their whole house. She drooled like you wouldn't believe. Well, maybe you do.

Really sweet dog though. They never had to worry about locking up their house.

i just saw this dwarfism issue pop up in someone's cochins too so this has me wondering if this will be a trend for people looking for 'pet' chickens!

but it sounds like the females won't lay eggs. not sure if any males like this would be fertile.

hhuuummm, i will have to keep an eye open for that issue. my girl hatched and was raised with a broody along with my Hat Trick brood. the 3 boys i still have from that line are a little small but still bigger than her. they are still young and i figured they will put more weight and heft on when the spring comes. my girl still has not started to lay yet and has not become red in the face and comb either for being over 6 months old.

Delilah is such a sweet girl. she'll fly up to my shoulder when i crouch down to look over some of the other birds and she'll come when i call her too! she'll snuggle and talk to me too! i'm really hoping she is just behind in her growth and won't stop her from laying in another month.

NobleHill, do you know if her egg was marked with a Z, M or an A or were they just marked with F or Fav? i'm thinking if it was from eggs marked with 'M' it was from my roo Mosey over Kiva since i had them paired up at the time and Delilah so far is their only offspring i was able to hatch from them. i just haven't tried hatching any more eggs from my birds yet.
