Also wanted to add this is our second sportsmen, we bought one years ago and bought that one new and ran it for about 4-5 years and never replaced anything.

We took them out and held them each day. It helped them be more friendly, in my opinion.

Hi!
I haven't been in this forum since the snow started falling.
Is anyone going to have Aurecana or Ameraucana chicks this spring?
Or is anyone willing to lend/rent/sell a small incubator?
I'm also willing to trade a rooster for a hen

Just kidding. He's good at his job, just ticked me off last night. My hand is NOT a weasel.
I don't really need 3 roosters, though, and I can't bring myself to kill them. Well, if this summer is like last summer, they won't last past July with the coyotes.
Anyhoo...any blue egg chicks??

I am hatching a lot of Ameraucanas this spring. I currently am hatching blacks that are split to lavender and wheaten. Later, I will be hatching pure wheaten. I am also hatching some dark olive eggers that are a cross between lavender or wheaten Ameraucana and blue Marans.

Anyone interested in any, please PM me about what you would like and when. Cost is $5 per chick for day olds or slightly more for older ones, depending on age.

Hi,

We just went through a terrible week. Our cat had to be put down a week ago due to lymphoma, and the kids and I are bereft . He was only nine. I was wondering if anyone has an Abysinninan cat , and if they do, where they got it, and would they recommend the breeder? Our Coffee was such a wonderful fellow, and we are really at a loss at his sudden passing. Thanks, AmiableHen

Tractor Supply has the LG incubators on sale for 39.00 cant beat that with a stick! They are a little tricky to get adjusted, but I know people that have very good luck and swear by them. I catually had a 50.00 credit there so I could not pass one up this morning! Here I go again!
