Oh man that is aweful! Dont blame yourself, everything happens for a reason and it stinks sometimes. I hope Jess's re-check went well! She is really growing up fast. She is changing every time I see her!

its disappointing to lose a healthy bird....on the up side the appointment went great, they were very impressed with how much she has improved and how much movement she has in her knee so no need for physical therapy....YAHOOO!!

I dont know if she has anymore....it just happened today....I am just going to wait and see if the Blue splash frizzle is really a roo(I am thinking it is a pullet) if it is a roo then he can rule the roost!

already can't wait for the 18th! Amanda is coming with me this time! I probably wont have anything to bring with me (Though I hopefully will at the next one

) but I love looking around a picking up new and different breeds/colors that I don't have yet.
As for my laying buff brahma hen, I couldn't resist the temptation anymore, and had to eat the one egg I had from her. Now I have yet to try any of my own chickens eggs yet as that the only one I had before the Brahma that was laying was my serama, and I'm putting those eggs in the bator (all the other girls are still too young). I made up some quick scrambled eggs with it, and Amanda and I both tried it. WOW! What a huge difference compared to grocery eggs! I can't wait for the rest of my girls to start laying!!!
