Lady Luck is just not with you at all......

Anyone interested in a young GLW roo? A neighbor wants to rehome him. Not human aggressive, but was too much for their small flock of hens. I can post pics tomorrow.

Hi
Darbella I hope things go better for you and your neck of the woods!
I've been away from the forums for so long, since I started school really.
The four Ameraucana/Aurecana chix I bought from HenPen are grown up, and two are roos....so I need to rehome them, or one of them and the Barred Rock Roo. I have them listed in the auctions for $1 or trade for an unsexed Ameraucana or Aurecana chick.
The white one is really friendly, and the black one is gorgeous. It's the only reason I know he's a roo, because he's not aggressive at all.
The Barred Rock is a good protector, but if I want to get chicks from my hens next year, I'd rather have all the same breed.
I just don't want them to end up as soup.

I hadn't checked the forum in a while, so didn't know until just now. I hope your knee heals up fast, and i hope your holidays are brighter than this week has been for you. I still have those lovely serama chicks for you. They are 11 weeks old now. They've adjusted well since i put them in the chicken tractor a few weeks ago. They were sleeping up on the roost, but when it got really cold, like last night, they all huddled in the nest box with the parents! Too cute! My new babies (~1 week old) are in the house, i brought them in because i lost 2 to the cold and it was just too stressful worrying about them all day and night! I had two of the remaining eggs hatch after i brought them inside too, and i'm waiting a few more days to see if anything else hatches.

I have a couple of EE cross hens for sale. bantams
1 is a copper with mix colors ( i think she has featherd feet)
1 is black
i also have 2 young ee cross pullets and 1 cockerel. all black.

anyone looking to buy some serama pairs? I have a few and need to cut down on them. Let me know and I could possibly send some pictures or have you come and look at them, I live right in Weare, NH. Most are laying hens...I have two roosters.

Here are some cute I just hatched from there eggs...
