Glad to hear they are doing well. The dun "cochindottes" shouldn't get big, they are bantam. The olive egger is a standard sized Ameraucana X Marans. I do not have Araucanas, rumpless or otherwise.

OK, I am going to sell most of my adult birds, since I just can't take care of so many and I need to pay medical bills.

All birds are 1 year of age or younger except where noted otherwise. Click on a picture to view larger size.

Standard size:

Wheaten Ameraucana pair, pullet lays nice blue eggs

Wheaten "Ameraucana" pullet that lays white eggs - good layer, just wrong color!

ON HOLD Lavender Ameraucana roo - stunning boy, hatched from Harry Shaffer's eggs

ON HOLD Blue Marans pullet, lays nice russet brown eggs

Giant Blue Cochin (2 yr) - beautiful girl, great broody and mother

ON HOLD Cream Brabanter (3 yr) - gorgeous, sweetheart, lays very large white eggs, has hatched and raised a few batches of chicks when I've let her

Bantams:

ON HOLD Black cochin pair - unrelated from show stocks

ON HOLD Lavender cochin pair - great temperament, hatchery stock

I am so happy! I met up with Sue from Lily's Rabbitry at TSC in Milford this morning. I have been waiting a year for one of her MICRO rex does. I finally got her! She is a blue tort (I think that is how I say it)...she is so small and sweet. She had some really nice bunnies there today. I told her to come to the Chickenstock next month and she is gonna try! I had to work till 5, but I got all kinds of calls for chickens and met a guy at my house after work. He bought a pair of my seramas and a pair of my mottled Cochin chicks too. So far in the bator I have 6 hatched out. Cochins, but not sure what the heck the color is. I will try and load a picture for color help later.

Hi,

I need black or mottle black bantie cochins. If you hatch any extras and they are not sold can I buy some from you at the May 15th swap? I am buying Muffi's black cochin pair and need some more blacks to add to my breeding stock.

Also, I talked over with my husband about the show on the 1st. I explained what some other poultry folks have experienced there. He told me no not to go. He said it's too risky with trying for the NPIP not to mention he knows how in love I am with my bantie blue cochins and that is what i would be showing. Gosh, if anything happened to them I would be devastated!!!

These are my pride and joys:

Anywhoo, I will have hopefully lots of chicks for sale including true araucana's at Shay's swap.

Shay do I need to email you my cert's from the State of CT showing all my birds are negative? Or should I bring you a hard copy paper?

Thanks All,
Beth

Your better off bringinng a copy with you just in case someone from the state comes to check

Hi Beth! i will bring what I have for cochin chicks, I think you will like these . The lady I got the eggs from said they are from her show stock and the feet featers already are so full and they are just hatched! But i am not sure if these will be blue mottled or splash. I looked on feathersite and from the looks of pictures theee, they may be splash, but there are also mottled and barred.

Hi Darbella,

Sounds great to me! The blue mottled usually only breed I think a 50% but I'll have to check again. I'd definately love a few blue mottled bc I currently have a black mottled cochin roo boy.

Look forward to seeing you all and Thanks NobleHillfarm for the heads up! I will definitely bring the health pprwk

Is anyone going to have a clean-legged bantam for sale? Preferably with the Mille Fleur coloring?
