Chickenstock in Parsonfiel ME I"m in a go mode-Will not cancel!

Banter, feel free to holler if there is anything to help with. I did put posters up around here, so if you was to run some off and send your friends with some around your town, then if you can forward the poster out to others, then it would get advertised. Also, please feel free to advertise at the Oxford event- or I will.
The people in this area are excited- but I don't know how many will actually appear...but I plan on enjoying myself!

Thanks! I will yell when I need help (I prob will). I have two months to work on this, so 'm confident it will be a success.

I have not forgotten all of you who pm'd me for camping info-putting together a nice flyer. Bought new graphic software-give me a week and I'll mail out.

Don't bother with a stamp for me, I'll be there, I hope we can camp out, but DH is not a camp person! He likes a bed, electricity and no running to the potty all night! lol.
We'll see, but I definately want to be involved in this!

Oh, people, don't forget to bring fresh eggs, either eating or hatching- you never know and if all else fails, you take them back home with you!

The camp info flyer will be out A.M. for those who pm'd me. Anyone else who wants a flyer for camping pm me and I'll mail one to you . More Chickenstock info will be on this site as we get a little closer to the date, (early May). I hope to have a few Russian Orloffs and Brabanters to offer.

I am going to hold my breath and see which way the flu scare goes. If it enters Maine I may postpone/cancel the Chickenstock. It's not worth subjecting any human or flock to harm. Birds and swine can both be carriers, or contract it. My husband is a manager for Walgreen's, and he will be exposed to the virus on a daily basis if the flu breaks out here. I 'll try to make a decision in plenty of time as not to inconvenience anyone.

While the swine flu is definately a huge concern, we cant let it consume our lives.
so far it is only in NY and a few of the lower states.
I do understand your concern and I have the same concerns with my GDaughter being diabetic, but tons of hand sanitizer and good hand washing measures and good husbandry we should pull this unscathed.

The media is bound and determined to scare the living daylights out of us one way or another, swine flu is a great way to do it right now. Unless there is a true outbreak in the New England area I wouldn't worry about it. Seriously.

I am keeping fingers and toes crossed

I may have a couple of Seb goslings to sell (knock on wood), if I have a good hatch.
