Chickenstock in West Gardiner, Maine Oct. 12

Haha my mom was so amazed by the frizzles and the showgirl.
We were walking to the car and she goes "We should buy some silkies in the spring" and I go "No, we should buy an incubator and get some eggs to hatch them ourselves in the spring"

It certainly was an amazing day. Low key and easy, the best way to be!
Lets see, the folks that were around was amazing, wonderful people that just wanted to look, buy or just talk about the past birds, hopeful birds and how they "shouldn't" take any home!
I went with the intent of being to swap a bird...came home with 2. Beautiful Bantam Cochins. So far so good, I even tossed darling Penny in with them to see if they could get this over and done with (her being a bad character) while everyone was new. So far so good. Scooter is hiding behind the 2 ladies.
Everyone seemed fine, will go out in a short while to see if things are settled down.

Thanks again to everyone that helped make the day very memorable..! (and the RIR roo, and a few other chicks that managed to get loose)
