sooooo, I posted a special on craigs list. the first 2 people who buy a dozen of my fancy chicken hatching eggs will have the opportunity to buy a dozen bantam frizzle eggs for $3.00 a dozen.

We made out very well at the swap today. Alot better than yesterday anyway. It was a beautiful day for a swap. Was nice to be in my old neighborhood. It will be nice when the weather is like this all the time...........lol.

did you have any chicks that learned to fly like yesterday! That wind was something else!

No they all behaved like little angels today, no flying lessons across the parking lot.

Missed everyone today, but I headed to Westford because I had to meet the gal (muffi) to pick up my Midget White turkey poult. I had ended up with 2 hens from the ones I got from her and she had a tom so now I will have a trio of them! Dont mind, they are so adorable and talkative for sure! So when I got there I noticed all these cute little pidgeons that were all marked in different ways and colors and they were small with little hooked beaks like a hawk! I kep finding myself going back to different dealers that had them and did end up with a pair. Of course i left without them and ended up panniking because I did not buy them so i called Jackies mom Francine and thankfully she was still there and grabbed them for me which was a good thing cause i had to go to her house to get them and it gave me a chance to see my little goats. Not so little anymore! Then I also picked up a pair of diamond doves, which I have wanted for a long time So what did i miss at Griffenbrook today???? Was it windy as yesterday?

After saturday's pipeband competition(out band took 2nd, 1 point behind first), we were glad to have a small quiet swap. It was good to see everyone there, and it was aldo good to have a chance to educate people about the care of pigeons as pets. I'm still amazed at how many people think pigeons can't live with chickens, and or are just "caged city birds."

With the wind my birds got to fly inside their cages, and my cages were cleaned by the time we had to leave(Thank you wind for blowing the shavings and seed down back). After the swap we ran over to Manchester to pick up our new "rescue roo" named "Uncle Ted." Ted is a "typical roo" who's used to getting his way(And he kicked my butt), however, we are prepared to work with him. If he settles down, he'll have some nice young girls when they are old enough. Overall a good time.

Hi. What a beautiful day! Our 12 funky Polish babies all went to new homes, yeah! Heather and I came home with 6 new Silkie babies. It's always good to come home with less than you went with! Had a good lunch with even better company. Can't wait to do it all over again next weekend!
