Why do yorkies have fancy little boxes to sit on

he's doing really good.

He does run and jump onto the couches so we are working on that. He also just thinks everything is his, since he's not used to being in the house, and he's used to getting whatever food I have. He's never been around people eating and the only time i've had food was when I was giving it to him.. hard habit to break

You could put him on a down-stay every time anyone has food, then give him a treat after they are done
