You were really really close!! And the Toller isn’t that common so that’s probably why haha they’re one of my favs though! More herding breed than retriever in terms of personality and energy

Of all the retrieving breeds, the NSDTR is my absolute favourite too!

Just found out some of the Schrippeke don’t have tails does this cause any health problems? I know it can in cats and mice.

No, they are docked (I think? @TheDawg ).. its done shortly after birth, before nerve endings are developed. It doesn't hurt and causes no problems

Can you take her outside? such a big dog will soil a pad in just one go. Maybe she doesn't like having to go on something thats already soiled. I'd start potty training outside.

She's still a puppy, just over two months, so she's not too big yet.
We can take her outside, it's hard because of both how we have her kennel area set up and because she's a very energetic dog to be chasing through snow at 1 in the morning.

Yesss! One of my brother’s dogs has crazy high prey drive haha the others have a decent amount but Franklin is ridic lol he’s FAST too and I swear could catch adult bunnies haha

ok, so breeding two dogs with natural bob tails does lead to a lethal gene and some puppies will die.

reputable breeders wont let that happen, though
