Chickenz in Atlanta?

Thinking of raising a few chickenz in Atlanta if legal? I would like maybe 3 chickens and 2 rabbits in the same "house" if possible. Maybe build a smaller house with wheels on the one end so i can move it around some.

I was told i can if i build 50' away from any neighbors, is this true? Is there any distance i must stay away from roads?

Do you think this is a bad idea? I am around 15 miles from the actual city.

Someone may be near to you and know the local laws. Otherwise, the county should be able to point you in the right direction.

So that means you are outside the city limits? City ordinances only apply within the city limits but some suburban cities may have more constrictive ordinances.
If I were you, I'd contact the Atlanta Backyard Chicken Meetup Group. If not the largest, it is one of the largest chicken meetup groups in the world. You can get all the info you need there.
