chicks arrive this morning

    the only ones the hatchery had were black sex links and ameraucana's...and the hatchery was strombergschickens... the first time i used them.. and all the chickens were alive and looking good.. all 25 of them!! i'll probably use this hatchery again....

    i think the two with blue paint spots on their heads must be males; i've never seen a hatchery do that before...[​IMG]

    You will like the black sexlinks when they start. Nice big egg, from such a small body.[​IMG] But they sure fuss a lot. When time to drop the egg they don't want any chicken in their area. They do like their privacy. But wow, what good layers.
