My grandmother used to feed her little ones dry oats or tiny corn bread crumbs. They will even pick at grass clippings. Maybe that will help until you can get the right thing.
Blended chicken feed if you have adults would be better than nothing until you can get the right thing.

I agree with the other posts. Once I used a heating pad with a pillow case over it because they will poop all over it. If you have any oatmeal you could try that.
