She mostly eats baby chicken food ,some green vegies and free ranges with her mom for a few hours a day. She might of eaten uncooked rice a few days ago. The other chickens she's with love uncooked rice. They only get it once in a while along with cooked rice. The other chickens also get rice with the skin still on once in a while too but haven't fed them that in over a week but for sure I've have fed them uncooked rice out of the skin in the last 2 days or so.

You might not want to give her uncooked rice anymore. When birds eat uncooked rice, it expands in their bellies and hurts them. With chickens, especially young chicks, it will expand in her crop and in some cases, it could cause it to get too big and rupture. I wouldnt give them anymore uncooked rice. Cooked is fine, but the uncooked can be very dangerous.

I'll Definitely stop feeding them uncooked rice.

I've already added Apple cyder vinegar/water and she has been given a small amount of bread soaked with olive oil. Hopefully this will help. I'll post back tomorrow letting you know how she's doing. Thanks for everyones help!

Agree! This is why people no longer throw rice at weddings anymore.

This morning her crop is not quite as full and not hard as a rock anymore. It seems to be going down but really slow. I would say there is about 20% less in her crop than yesterday. She seems a little bit more active today but still looking down.

It's sad news. She died yesterday evening. That morning her crop was totally empty but she was still moving very slow and looked uncomfortable. I made sure she had plenty of water (not to much) and she seemed to be eating a little too. In the evening I found her laying with her head rested on the ground still alive. When I picked her up it seemed she couldn't hold her body up at all even her wings were hanging down and her legs were limp. The strange thing is when ever she tried to moved her head it seem to twist and fall backwards. She died in my hands 5 mins later. Poor little thing!!!
