... Here in GA their are snakes all over! On our farm we have black chicken snakes (rat snakes), copper heads, and cotton mouths! So I wasn't surrprised to hear. But the chicks are growing well and I am begining to wonder if the black chick is a rooster. I won't know 'til later to day but I will update... Any more chicks??

wow thats alot of snakes.... we have the adder which is the only british venimous snake and the grass snake, and I have only seen a grass snake once.. and that was a baby one on the beach of all places lol.

No more chicks, checked the remaining 2 eggs and still no sign, going to leave them till monday but doubt anymore will hatch...

Keep me posted on your chicks they are lovely.. I will add more pics when mummy hen stops being soooo protective lol
