Chicks dying at a fast rate

So I lost another quail. This time I watched closely to it. It started panting and chirping then it put its wings up and laid on its side til it died. It didn’t have its legs spread out either. Any ideas?

Are you using a white or red bulb on your heat lamp? If white, they will tend to bunch up.
White liquid poop, in general means they are too hot, do any have pasty butt? Are they gasping for breath? Are they stretching out when they die?
You may want to check the temperature at their level in the brooder, to be sure it's not too hot.
You may also want to give them some Nutri-Drench along with plain fresh water.

So I’m about to lose my 8th chick. It’s off to the side and breathing a lot quicker than the others. I got them Sav-A-Chick for their water and raised the temp up from around 95 to 105. They stopped huddling and started moving away from each other. The babies aren’t stretched out when they die. All I can think is that maybe I have a Cocci outbreak. Any thoughts?

I’d treat with Corid. Can’t hurt.
