Chicks dying, they were shipped today

This is "good" to know. I have a heart of stone and I'm sat here in tears. Two more Bantams died, and I have one in my hand on it's way out. I couldn't bear seeing it getting trodden on. I feel powerless, nothing I do makes a difference.
Stop crying and go get the Poultry-Nutri-Drench. You are not powerless and I am trying to help. These chicks are no different than a needy litter of puppies or kittens. It's all about warmth and sugar levels. You have the warmth. But without the sugar levels, it does no good. Their G.I. tract is compromised by stress. Poultry Nutri-Dench was made just for this. Gro-Gel was not. Surgar mixtures were not. Go back and read the Bovidr website. P N-D mainlines into the bloodstream. It does not need to be digested like all the other supplements. It is famed for bringing back needy neonates. Where do you live? You should be able to find a location near you which has it.

Give each chick as close to one drop as you can get in the mouth. P N-D is absorbed thru the tongue and throat as well as the stomach.

I also got 15 polish last week (all died) and then 15 more replacements this weekend (10 died). I talked to McMurray and they said that the Polish are very sensitive to temperature and this was not the best time of year to be shipped. Their customer service was incredible in helping me although I would have like to have the info about the difficulty with Polish at this time of year as I would have waited until later if I had known. My rainbow layers came through just fine.

What's going on, everyone's chicks r dying in or after shipment. This is crazy! I just started the chick biz 3 mos ago n have only lost two but that was to predators once they were outside. I knew almost zero about this and have researched alot because of the steep learning curve I had. And even my chicks lived. I think something is going on n these chicks were substandard n weak upon hatching. Wow, I'm devasted u lost all of them :-(

next time im going with a breeder that is closer and not a hatchery. leason learned

. im going to wait for it to warm up here as well. they did refund me for all them.

Since I have more chicks coming next week, I am going to go this weekend and purchase some of this Nutri-Drench. Thanks for the suggestion. I'd rather have it just in case than be here in the middle of the night with sick chicks and no way to help them..

Travis E, I'm so sorry this has happened. Just an FYI, Ideal sends their birds out on Mondays and Wednesdays so there would be no delays if you order chicks from them.
