Agreed. If flock owners would stop accepting crap from stores, then flock owners would no longer be paying for or receiving crap from stores.

The problem is that people don't understand the problem. Dog food, in fact many products, are packaged better, and have a very much longer shelf life. Poultry feed ages out FAST, and often (usually!) store personel don't have a clue. My local TSC has staffers who think the "chicken feed is good for six months!" but I know better. Mary

Exactly. I spend a lot of time typing the same info over and over and over again, and still run into the fact that people simply are not aware. I pay more attention to the freshness of the feed my flock gets than the stuff in my pantry. bad me!!!
