Just went out and put 30 more eggs in the Bator, put 48 in the Hatcher! Started to tear apart the dilapidated cabinet Bator , i am having buyers regret, i don't know if i will get anything useful out of it, other than the experience of taking it apart. I got hatching fever and had to get another Bator. When i get it done, it will be my third cabinet Bator! :-D

I am in I just bought Blue laced red wyandottes from west knoll received them today and I have 2 dozen silkie eggs coming from a breeder friend.. OHHH and I have my 1st set of pregnant American Dutch bunnies due 2 days before Christmas

Should be an interesting Christmas!!

How fun! I just got notification from USPS that my 10+ silkie eggs have arrived...WOO-HOO! They will join the 6 silkies that are already percolating for that Dec 17th hatch date. All timed for when my family is in town for Christmas. None of them have ever experienced the miracle of hatching, so I'm hoping that this will be a wonderful Christmas treat!

My daughter and I bought some eggs from LuckyPickens and set them on Tuesday. There are a mix of silver laced and calico bantam cochins and will be my daughters 4-h breeding stock chickens for this year's fair. So we'll be a little early for Christmas, but close enough to still consider it a gift should they do well.

I'm in!! I got a wonderful box of eggs from . . . . YOU DEB! I will be setting some polish, cochins, SLW, and EE's! Most are going in the incubator, some are going to my broody who's a egg collector! Maybe now she will be satisifed (doubt it)
